Katarina Svabcikova, E-RYT500/ YACEP

Katarina is an experienced Yoga Teacher, with over 2500 classes taught. Katarina works at the Simon Cancer Center at IU Health, where she supports oncology/hematology patients with mindfulness and meditation practices during their long inpatient treatments.

She is leading a 50-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Indianapolis and co-leads a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bloomington. She has been practicing yoga for twelve years.

Katarina leads two annual yoga retreats: Silent Yoga Retreat in New Harmony (and a Rest and Restore Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica.

“My personal yoga practice is the practice of my heart and my mind. It has evolved over the years. These days, Yoga helps me refine the connection to my body and the meditation helps me explore the inner workings of my mind. To me, Yoga is a tool that helps me refine my presence and the ways I want to show up for myself and the people around me.”
